Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Buvarp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilgmārs Beters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Jūlijs Tolmanis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 16th minute, Benjamin Buvarp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Åsnes fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Åsnes's Benjamin Buvarp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
