Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) NK Ribar Rab's Šime Gudim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slavko Šunić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Eusebiu Siniştean went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eusebiu Siniştean got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slavko Šunić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Petrică Geantă kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Frane Jakominić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Ribar Rab's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frane Jakominić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the MIT Craiova defense, Mihovil Korbar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marius Trişcu. The MIT Craiova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marius Trişcu should have stopped the shot. After 20 minutes, Sergiu Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT Craiova and the NK Ribar Rab players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of NK Ribar Rab booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's Leontin Iacobescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slavko Šunić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihovil Korbar in the 27th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Marius Trişcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Mihovil Korbar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Trişcu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marius Trişcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihovil Korbar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 34th minute of play forced NK Ribar Rab's goalkeeper Slavko Šunić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Geantă. Petrică Geantă kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Petrică Geantă got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Cristi Foltea fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIT Craiova's protests and gave Cristi Foltea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristi Foltea hit a great ball. The MIT Craiova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NK Ribar Rab were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leontin Iacobescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Leontin Iacobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Voinescu. Marius Trişcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frane Jakominić in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Sergiu Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marius Trişcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihovil Korbar, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to NK Ribar Rab getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Frane Jakominić hit a great ball. Šime Gudim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marius Trişcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iustinian Voinescu hit a great ball. Maxim Petran kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Marius Trişcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frane Jakominić took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Trişcu. Marius Trişcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 82nd minute, MIT Craiova's Sergiu Costa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sergiu Costa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MIT Craiova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sergiu Costa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in MIT Craiova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! MIT Craiova's Cristi Foltea got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sergiu Taşcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Trişcu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Davor Bosanac showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. NK Ribar Rab's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
