Ponte do Carro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boyko Rushkarski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on DARAS's corner Boyko Rushkarski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heitor Horta quite easily take care of the ball. Lúcio Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. DARAS's Dennis Bergkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rangel Shevkenov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Horta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Bergkamp went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 19 minutes, Máximo Malafaia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the DARAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Malafaia to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Brakalov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rangel Shevkenov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesualdo Soveral made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Diamantino Guimarães immediately put the ball in play. In the 38thth minute of the game Dennis Bergkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Heitor Horta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DARAS's attentive Slavyan Negrov managed to snatch the ball when Jesualdo Soveral made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Heitor Horta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ponte do Carro's Heitor Horta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, DARAS's Dennis Bergkamp made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heitor Horta was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Donyo Kalúpchiev made the kick off in the second half. Anastas Lukov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ponte do Carro's Heitor Horta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. Heitor Horta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Donyo Kalúpchiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When DARAS's Dennis Bergkamp in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A hard shot 71 in the game by Donyo Kalúpchiev from a close distance when the talented Heitor Horta managed to make a qualified save. Ponte do Carro's players were relieved. Heitor Horta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Horta saved Ponte do Carro from getting behind. In the 86th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Sanches to maneuver through the defense. DARAS's Dennis Bergkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesualdo Soveral charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesualdo Soveral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jesualdo Soveral hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Boyko Rushkarski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heitor Horta skillfully saved the ball. Heitor Horta made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Donyo Kalúpchiev sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Donyo Kalúpchiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mateus Quaresma fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte do Carro's protests and gave Mateus Quaresma a yellow card for diving instead. The Ponte do Carro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
