THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guo Ao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Osvaldo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Roy Makaay took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo dos Santos. Osvaldo dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 20th minute, Jairo de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attentive Douglas Falcão managed to snatch the ball when Emílio Salles made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Roy Makaay notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Osvaldo dos Santos. Osvaldo dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. A sloppy throw-in by Téo de Castro in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nicolai Otamendi. Osvaldo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makaay in the 47th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edmund Wawrukiewicz got a free kick in the 47th minute. The THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villaverde Celeste Clube were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovani Dracena was the one to do the kick off. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Furche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dino Manfredi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Roy Makaay scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldo dos Santos, making the score, 0-8. Osvaldo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Roy Makaay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Lucas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villaverde Celeste Clube's Matheus Baltazar was substituted for Roy Makaay. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Mota made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Zeledon Vachon. Matheus Baltazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo dos Santos having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Baltazar came free, but Osvaldo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guo Ao who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Villaverde Celeste Clube's Guo Ao to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo dos Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matheus Baltazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matheus Baltazar ran back to his position shaking his head. Matheus Baltazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Osvaldo dos Santos made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Osvaldo dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Baltazar. Villaverde Celeste Clube played a much better game than THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ and deserved their victory. The THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
