Paul Ogot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Verzeanu in the 5th minute of play. Paul Ogot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Verzeanu went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paul Ogot made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Marko Burckhardt sent off a good shot on target. After recieving a nice pass, Dark Prophets's Marko Burckhardt tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Charles Wambui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Charles Wambui made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Argi. Dark Prophets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Geronimo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Wambui, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Marko Burckhardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrick Ntalami in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Argi saved Dark Prophets from getting behind. Paul Ogot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Makomaski in the 36th minute of the match. Fredrick Ntalami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Geronimo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Ogot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachariasz Makomaski in the 40th minute. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Wambui in the 41st minute of play. Fazul Mwaura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Charles Wambui put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Argi. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Wambui to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Wambui got free with Geronimo Argi in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fredrick Ntalami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geronimo Argi made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fredrick Ntalami sent off a good shot on target. Charles Wambui scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Argi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Wambui came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Tatooine Local Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Ping Yi came free, but Paul Ogot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Wambui got free with Geronimo Argi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Makomaski kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Zachariasz Makomaski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ogot having to interfere. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Charles Wambui sped through Dark Prophets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Argi. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by David Kogo with Fredrick Ntalami as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sabin Verzeanu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Fredrick Ntalami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatooine Local Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Prophets the free kick. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when Tatooine Local Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrick Ntalami didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi got control of the ball when Dan Tanui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geronimo Argi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Wambui in the 89th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Fredrick Ntalami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Burckhardt in the 95th minute of play. The Tatooine Local Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tatooine Local Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
