Pavel Balc scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jānis Lielais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jānis Lielais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavel Balc's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Buciumii's Pavel Balc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jānis Lielais. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Balc in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, FC Buciumii's Pavel Balc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jānis Lielais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Pavel Balc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavel Balc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jānis Lielais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Olavi Vilos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Jānis Lielais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute, Indris Tomass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SK Annenieki's zone, Pavel Balc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jānis Lielais came out of the goal and Pavel Balc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, FC Buciumii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavi Vilo to maneuver through the defense. With 43 minutes on the clock, Normunds Vēbers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jānis Lielais acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olavi Vilo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
When Pavel Balc came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Buciumii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Balc couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when FC Buciumii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavi Vilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Balc in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jānis Lielais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Annenieki's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olavi Vilo was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Buciumii's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Johan Gelin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Reinholds Jaunzems took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roch Grondzki. FC Buciumii's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Olavi Vilo came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Buciumii were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after SK Annenieki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Ghițulescu took the corner. At last the ball reached Cristinel Gheară at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SK Annenieki. 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the SK Annenieki players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Buciumii.
