Asdrubal Palma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Primitivo Fernanco made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Bertran came free, but Frank Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Romeo Nevada sped through SAPRIMECKBEL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Mora. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reiner Fallas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ladislao Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Reiner Fallas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Fernanco having to interfere. Primitivo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asdrubal Palma in the 58th minute of play. Frank Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boca Juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
