After 9 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Anselmo Vasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Cheche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. Israel Ederono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Free Pot's Cosme Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Free Pot from getting a goal against them. Adan Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Free Pot's Severino Manuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Telmo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Cheche. Cosme Cheche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Israel Ederono took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cosme Cheche to make any attempt to save it. Israel Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cosme Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Astor Heli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Free Pot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Free Pot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Boca Juniors's Ignacio Oto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosme Cheche. Cosme Cheche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anier Oton hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Ederono during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Israel Ederono hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Godfredo Telmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Pancho made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Ederono in the 55th minute of play forced Free Pot's goalkeeper Cosme Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Free Pot's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Abadie took the corner. The corner ended in Esteban Abadie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Free Pot's Cosme Cheche did a great save. The supporters of Free Pot booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Dimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play Boca Juniors's Israel Ederono was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Free Pot booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Cheche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Oto went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Adan Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Loi in the 72nd minute of play. Ignacio Oto might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Cheche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Oto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Pancho in the 81st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Adan Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cosme Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Free Pot's Octavio Pancho got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute Angelo Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Grabiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Grabiel made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Octavio Pancho sent off a good shot on target. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
