Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Rafferty in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Björn Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlotte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Magnusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Hyatt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tuan Eubanks came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ACC Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuan Eubanks couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Mitchell Curry got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to ACC Mavericks getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Terry Hinson hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Vicente Rafferty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Clemente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuan Eubanks in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Clemente Clemente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuan Eubanks. The corner ended in Jose Bermudez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Charlotte FC's Clemente Clemente did a great save. Steve Van Clynenbreugel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Clemente Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Van Clynenbreugel might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Clemente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Van Clynenbreugel ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Clemente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nerio Lopez de Toro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ACC Mavericks's goalie prevented a goal. Charlotte FC's Clemente Clemente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Charlotte FC from getting a goal against them. Clemente Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 39th minute of the match. Nerio Lopez de Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Clemente having to interfere. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaja Jamak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Nerio Lopez de Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACC Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nerio Lopez de Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Tuan Eubanks made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Clemente. Charlotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tuan Eubanks managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACC Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuan Eubanks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes ACC Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Tuan Eubanks. Bob Hyatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wander Suzanne in the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Wander Suzanne recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bob Hyatt. Wander Suzanne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Clemente Clemente came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro. But to his dismay, Nerio Lopez de Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Charlotte FC made a substitution. Ari Currie replaced Vicente Rafferty. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primo Dunđer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Çağrı Kıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When ACC Mavericks's Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Charlotte FC's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the game, ACC Mavericks's Tuan Eubanks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Clemente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Kareem Stoddard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Wander Suzanne put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bob Hyatt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Clemente saved Charlotte FC from getting behind. Steve Van Clynenbreugel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Clemente Clemente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACC Mavericks. Nerio Lopez de Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ari Currie. Charlotte FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
