An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Melander in the 13th minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Peter Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Narciso Labarra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Svanberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 15 minutes of play, Black is Back's Otto Kaxe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Sefastsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zair Hasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Svanberg having to make a save. With a little luck, Black is Back's Peter Svanberg got control of the ball when Zair Hasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Otto Kaxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Sefastsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Svanberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Labarra in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Zair Hasa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Black is Back's Peter Svanberg. Peter Svanberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zair Hasa made a kick off. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zair Hasa in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Narciso Labarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Labarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Svanberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zair Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peter Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zair Hasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Zair Hasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Nyman in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Svanberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Rang in the 69th minute of play. Bernt Nyman scored 5-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Svanberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Bernt Nyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Svanberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Black is Back's Edvin Melhus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tage Finman in the 95 minute of the game. In the 97th minute of the match National Team Cape-Verde got a corner. Black is Back's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viggo Rang ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led National Team Cape-Verde's Viggo Rang to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Svanberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The National Team Cape-Verde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black is Back had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
