A sloppy throw-in by 朱鹏梁 in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by National Team Cape-Verde's Şahap Özgu. Ignacy Niedzwiecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Melander's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Zair Hasas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Ignacy Niedzwiecki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zair Hasa in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacy Niedzwiecki saved 辽宁668代表队 from getting behind. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by 辽宁668代表队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a rather tough play, National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杜锋广 in the 44th minute of play. When National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander in 46 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ignacy Niedzwiecki guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Zair Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ignacy Niedzwiecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zair Hasa in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredric Melander made a kick off. Cris Montoia kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacy Niedzwiecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Zair Hasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Niedzwiecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pål Sefastsson came out of the goal and Sebastian Bredal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 辽宁668代表队 booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the National Team Cape-Verde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
