Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiso Villela started the match with the kick off. Piero Quispe kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alexandre Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. Alexandre Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Maurilio Duque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético San Alejandro. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. Atlético San Alejandro's Alexandre Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Rodrigues took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurilio Duque. Maurilio Duque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Alexandre Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético San Alejandro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Soccer the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético San Alejandro's Alexandre Rodrigues got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Justino Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético San Alejandro's Llin Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piero Quispe in the 25th minute of play. Llin Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiso Villela in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Rodrigues in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurilio Duque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético San Alejandro's Llin Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piero Quispe in the 33rd minute of play. After 41 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Donat Collier. After 42 minutes, Dantel Ayllon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Soccer and the Atlético San Alejandro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Dantel Ayllon. Alexandre Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Rodrigues to make the kick off. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético San Alejandro's Alexandre Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Alexandre Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Merczak in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Alexandre Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético San Alejandro's Cevat Tekinalp was substituted for Alexandre Rodrigues. Juan Manuel Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Manuel Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Manuel Vargas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Cevat Tekinalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Manuel Vargas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The supporters of Atlético San Alejandro booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Manuel Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético San Alejandro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
