The Jeremias Cordario was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Weterio in the 7th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Moneyball Academy got a corner. Arquímedes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulises Dimas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ulises Dimas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Cordario quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute Matias Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgay Şeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Weterio in the 12th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turgay Şeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 20th minute of play. When Arquímedes's Domingo Librado in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moneyball Academy's goalie prevented a goal. When Narciso Galoer fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Turgay Şeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arquímedes Ladio in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Wilfredo Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneyball Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moneyball Academy's Turgay Şeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Fresco in the 40th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Matias Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moneyball Academy's Turgay Şeren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Domingo Librado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Turgay Şeren. With a little luck, Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario got control of the ball when Esen Sevimli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Turgay Şeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moneyball Academy's Jacinto Rojas was substituted for Toni Delgado. Moneyball Academy made a substitution. Sebastian Bihar replaced Wilfredo Weterio. Moneyball Academy's Alex Enoaia was substituted for Esen Sevimli.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Bihar to strike the kick off in the second half. Moneyball Academy's Turgay Şeren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball Academy from getting a goal against them. Ulises Dimas was slow to take the kick. During this time Moneyball Academy's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Arquímedes's goalie and right to Moreno Veloz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Arquímedes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Moneyball Academy's Turgay Şeren got control of the ball when Arquímedes Cesario tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Arquímedes's Turgay Şeren threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arquímedes Ladio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 68th minute of play forced Moneyball Academy's goalkeeper Turgay Şeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Turgay Şeren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arquímedes. In the 71st minute, Arquímedes Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Librado in the 72nd minute of play forced Moneyball Academy's goalkeeper Turgay Şeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Fresco in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgay Şeren saved Moneyball Academy from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Matias Fresco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turgay Şeren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Turgay Şeren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Librado went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute Domingo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgay Şeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arquímedes Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Turgay Şeren made a huge save. Turgay Şeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 88th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Daniel Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's Angel Oliviero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arquímedes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
