Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flavio Scatena started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ren Ting Jian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesare Simone. Sorci Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ren Ting Jian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 6th minute of the match Flavio Scatena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Ikatz skillfully saved the ball. Ren Ting Jians short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Cesare Simone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 9thth minute of the game Ren Ting Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ren Ting Jian in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Scatena in the 19th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Artemio Ikatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edmondo Bertini hit a great ball. Amerigo Toninelli's late challenge caught a Arquímedes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amerigo Toninelli helped the player get up and apologised. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Admon in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Scatena came free, but Artemio Ikatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Emiliano Delle Donne hit a great ball. Cesare Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Admon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Bosso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arquímedes's zone, Amerigo Toninelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Ikatz came out of the goal and Amerigo Toninelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Franco Bosso. Edmondo Bertini kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Ren Ting Jian came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Arquímedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Ting Jian couldn't finish the play. Arquímedes's Artemio Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Toninelli in the 35th minute of play. Artemio Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Toninelli in the 40th minute of play. Sorci Viola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Scatena in the 42nd minute. Romulo Txomin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Artemio Ikatz, a very annoying self made goal in the 42nd minute which led to 2-1. Cesare Simone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qi Yu Yong in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ren Ting Jian made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Bertini. Arquímedes's Ren Ting Jian got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hernan Xabat fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arquímedes's protests and gave Hernan Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute Flavio Scatena managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Ren Ting Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Constantino Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Simone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Ting Jian went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Scatena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Ting Jian in the 74th minute of play. Artemio Ikatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Scatena, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cesare Simone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Ting Jian's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Artemio Ikatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beppe Zoff in the 82nd minute. Sorci Viola were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Arquímedes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavio Scatena took the corner. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Amerigo Toninelli sped through Arquímedes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Ikatz. Cesare Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Admon in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Admon in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sorci Viola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Scatena in the 97th minute. After taking down the ball on Sorci Viola's corner Flavio Scatena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artemio Ikatz quite easily take care of the ball. The Arquímedes support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
