Saul Goodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Goodman ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Goodman. 27 minutes into the match, Almir Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Mouricio. Villa Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Damian Mouricio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Meira in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Saul Goodman sped through Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raphael Dantas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Poli Puyol in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Mouricio saved Villa Verde FC from getting behind. After 46 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Viana. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Alexsandro Garcia replaced Doriva Veloso. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. In the 55th minute Villa Verde FC were awarded a corner. Durval Leão went to the cornerflag to take it. Villa Verde FC's Alexsandro Garcia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Raphael Dantas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Poli Puyol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Damian Mouricio made a huge save. Raphael Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Goodman in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Durval Leão was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Verde FC's players had a chance to rest. Alexsandro Garcia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Villa Verde FC's Damian Mouricio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Verde FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 78 in the game by Almir Meira from a close distance when the talented Damian Mouricio managed to make a qualified save. Villa Verde FC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Cearense in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Paelemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luís Guilherme Cearense took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Dantas. Raphael Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to Casa Real de Savóia F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yuri Leite hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Cearense in the 98th minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Durval Leão was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Verde FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Villa Verde FC's Durval Leão to fire away a dangerous shot which Raphael Dantas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Villa Verde FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
