Arcadio Buendia made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ödön Szily sent off a good shot on target. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Michalsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Elodio. With his leg Arcadio Buendia managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Niculae Ungureanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute of the match, Niculae Ungureanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arcadio Buendia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Alzaga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th minute, Robert Rutkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Alzaga FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niculae Ungureanu to make the kick off. Falco Ijkwezen made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which David Elodio however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Pang Si Yan in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Bernardinho Alagoano. After having played for 60 minutes, David Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but David Elodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alzaga FC's Ovidio Bautista was substituted for Izydor Barciniak. After some careless play in the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. defense, Ovidio Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Lunin. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Lunin should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Jesus came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Alzaga FC got a corner. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Jesus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Jesus in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Elodio in the 92nd minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alzaga FC's Ovidio Bautista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andriy Lunin. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alzaga FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
