Gregor Compaan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Peysson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Alin Greculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Greculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bogdan Gurgui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Stănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Begal scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Gurgui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tudor Cănănău hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Alin Greculescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bogdan Gurgui. F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bogdan Gurgui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Stănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute, Mihnea Marchiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueLionesse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 34th minute, Tudor Cănănău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Stănoiu in the 35th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Begal in the 37th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Isac Begal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlueLionesse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Begal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute of the match F.C.BARLAD got a corner. BlueLionesse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Bacalbașa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Terry Peysson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terry Peysson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terry Peysson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Compaan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Mihnea Marchiș took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Bogdan Gurgui to make any attempt to save it. BlueLionesse's Gregor Compaan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Arjoca in the 59th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play F.C.BARLAD's Tudor Cănănău was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Cănănău didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Cănănău to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Mihnea Marchiș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bogdan Gurgui, 1-4. Eliodor Durbacă hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Damian Arjoca hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Peysson came free, but Gregor Compaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Compaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Peysson in the 80th minute of the match. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dumitru Surdu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as BlueLionesse's Isac Begal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Gurgui. That made the score 1-5 after 85 minutes of play. Mihnea Marchiș scored 1-6 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Gurgui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corneliu Stănoiu got free with Bogdan Gurgui in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihnea Marchiș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bogdan Gurgui came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihnea Marchiș slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 93rd minute. BlueLionesse's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
