After 5 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Craia. Marioara Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Oroian in the 12th minute of play. Panait Ailenei kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Tătăruşanu got free with Marioara Matei in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Oroian in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Vlas in the 24th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Marioara Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Giurcă during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by George Giurcă. A well-hit corner resulted in Valentin Ghioane heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dacian Oravițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Big Puiu in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when FC ciufulici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Big Puiu took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Oravițan. Dacian Oravițan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

After having played for 55 minutes, Big Puiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Big Puiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Olivieri in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Oravițan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Teodor Covaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panait Ailenei's late challenge caught a FC ciufulici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Ailenei helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Panait Ailenei got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC ciufulici's zone, Big Puiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Oravițan came out of the goal and Big Puiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marioara Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Giurcă in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Panait Ailenei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC ciufulici from getting a goal against them. In the 86th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Covaci to maneuver through the defense. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Big Puiu in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Craia to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC ciufulici defense, Big Puiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Oravițan. The FC ciufulici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Oravițan should have stopped the shot. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
