The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balavanis's Ionuț Agusoaei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Oroian in the 14th minute of play. Balavanis's Ionuț Agusoaei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Balavanis from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Şoiman in the 33rd minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Dacian Oravițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Valer Văidianu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan. Dacian Oravițan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Tanner in the 44th minute of play.

Balavanis's Dacian Vancea was substituted for Mihnea Gorgan. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Remus Onea hit a great ball. Ionuț Agusoaei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Oroian, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Teodor Covaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Agusoaei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Valer Văidianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Oravițan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC ciufulici lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
