The referee ignored San Martin de Tucuman's protests and gave Cristo Santo a yellow card for diving instead. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Lelescu in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Santo in the 6th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Confesor in the 9th minute of play. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Lelescu in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Lamberto in the 14th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Luciano Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Homer Field got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucuman's Paulino Lamberto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Zurawski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radomir Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Santo in the 23rd minute of the match. Radomir Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after San Martin de Tucuman's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krzysztof Wierzcholek took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Aybek Orcun heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Orcun in the 34th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Lamberto in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dominik Tarasek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Aquiles Omero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Wierzcholek in the 44th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybek Orcun made a kick off. Radomir Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, Basílio Cunha threw the ball into play from the sideline. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Gilbert Nalaskowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute, Aybek Orcun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Jax was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW made a substitution. Inko Colillas replaced Wiktor Brak. A nice corner shot did that Paulino Lamberto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radomir Zurawski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Godofredo Medero replaced Dimitri Molet. Pankracy Tusk might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Jax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pankracy Tusk ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquiles Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Lamberto. Pankracy Tusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Tusk in the 90th minute of play. Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Tusk in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski got control of the ball when Wilfredo Fagildo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
