Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Gunnarsson in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Lamberto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Medeiros saved Skënderbeu FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Confesor got free with Alfredão Medeiros in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Skënderbeu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Justino Confesor scored to the left of an out of position Alfredão Medeiros, making the score, 2-0. After 29 played minutes Skënderbeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Montay Peña. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Lamberto in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredão Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Alfredão Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when San Martin de Tucuman's Paulino Lamberto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mandi Salihi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Skënderbeu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Justino Confesor scored to the left of an out of position Alfredão Medeiros, making the score, 3-0. Justino Confesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredão Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Confesor ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Skënderbeu FC's goalkeeper Alfredão Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Selmo. The audience was convinced that Octavian Parlik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Jax was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Justino Confesor had several of the Skënderbeu FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Alfredão Medeiros as he didn't even see the shot coming. Justino Confesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredão Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Confesor ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavian Parlik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Luciano Selmo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Skënderbeu FC's Alfredão Medeiros. Alfredão Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Martin de Tucuman's Carmelo Osoitz was substituted for Justino Confesor. Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Wållander in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Montay Peña. With a little luck, San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax got control of the ball when Yngve Wållander tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Skënderbeu FC defense, Carmelo Osoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Medeiros. The Skënderbeu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Medeiros should have stopped the shot. San Martin de Tucuman's Lázaro Isaio was substituted for Aquiles Omero. After 74 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Selmo. If Carmelo Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Carmelo Osoitz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Skënderbeu FC's Alfredão Medeiros. Alfredão Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alfredão Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Skënderbeu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Lamberto came free, but Alfredão Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 91 in the game by Ivar Gunnarsson from a close distance when the talented Cecilio Jax managed to make a qualified save. San Martin de Tucuman's players were relieved. 93 minutes into the match, Paulino Lamberto notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Skënderbeu FC's Alfredão Medeiros. Alfredão Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Paulino Lamberto got a free kick in the 97th minute. San Martin de Tucuman were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skënderbeu FC for a fine match.
