Roch Zuraw was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sven-Arne Karlberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sylwester Kempka did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Axel Mellberg 13 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC got a freekick which was hit by Remus Burtescu. 18 minutes into the game, Roch Zuraw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Axel Mellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. James Chin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Alessandro Costacurta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Snipers's Axel Mellberg didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute, James Chin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Zuraw in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Åke Pil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Sebastiano Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Snipers's Axel Mellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Snipers from getting a goal against them. Axel Mellberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC fully deserved thier win.
