In the 19th minute, one of Goiás Esporte Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goiás Esporte Clube. When Marcell Kiss came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Valencia CF Mindszent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcell Kiss couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gilberto Dracena was a little too slow when Lázár Lévay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 7-0. In the 37th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilberto Dracena. Gilberto Dracena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Hedlund got free with Gilberto Dracena in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Jan-Åke Hedlund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Dracena. The goal made the score 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Hedlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Hedlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Dracena. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Åke Hedlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Gilberto Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 58th minute of the match. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Dracena should have stopped the shot. After 70 minutes, Amadeu Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the Valencia CF Mindszent players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeu Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Bob Sinclair replaced Jan-Åke Hedlund. Bob Sinclair might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bob Sinclair ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Sinclair came free, but Gilberto Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Sinclair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Dracena having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Bob Sinclair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Sinclair in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Bob Sinclair sped through Goiás Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto Dracena. After having played for 94 minutes, Bob Sinclair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Sinclair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Gaspar was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valencia CF Mindszent fully deserved thier win.
