After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Roger Ortiz got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Flávio Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave !Pabellon Ourense C.F. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Flávio Dionísio got a free kick in the 12th minute. Goiás Esporte Clube's Celsinho Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iuri de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eugenio Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Eugenio Jauregui got control of the ball when Ernesto Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celsinho Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Jauregui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celsinho Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Iuri de Andrade spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goal. Eugenio Jauregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Bermudo Domingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bermudo Domingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Iuri de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Jauregui. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Peio Saavedra got a free kick in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Roger Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. When Tonio Mondejar fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s protests and gave Tonio Mondejar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to !Pabellon Ourense C.F. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tonio Mondejar hit a great ball. Gilberto Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bermudo Domingo in the 56th minute of the match. Ernesto Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Guga Souto in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Peio Saavedra. Peio Saavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the last second Gilberto Dracena throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bermudo Domingo in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Celsinho Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Jauregui having to interfere.
