In the 19th minute of the match Benê Donato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yves Lothart skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Jonathan Calleri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barry Allen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th match minute, Camisa 10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Wayne to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cristiano de Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 31st minute, Cristiano de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nelson Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Bruce Wayne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camisa 10 and the PIAUÍ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Camisa 10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Wayne to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Camisa 10's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Calleri came free, but Barry Allen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Arruda hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Benê Donato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yves Lothart skillfully saved the ball. Barry Allen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Calleri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Calleri was the one to do the kick off. Barry Allen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luiz Prado went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Jonathan Calleri made a precise shot to the right of Barry Allen. Camisa 10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Barry Allen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 64th minute of play. Barry Allen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Calleri went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Dalmo Lucas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Yves Lothart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fabiano Valladares in the 70th minute. 80 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Wayne came free, but Yves Lothart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Camisa 10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Barry Allen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Calleri's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Luís Fabiano Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yves Lothart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Nunes in the 90th minute of play forced Camisa 10's goalkeeper Barry Allen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the PIAUÍ FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
