After 2 played minutes Faroe Islands got a freekick which was hit by Gert Joensen. 3 minutes into the game, Henk Veerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andrias á Bø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Ressel to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óli á Borg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poul Stanković in the 19th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henk Veerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute, Henk Veerman made a precise shot to the right of Andrias á Bø. Faroe Islands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 33rd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, SV Balverliefd's Henk Veerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrias á Bø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 38 minutes into the game, Henk Veerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Faroe Islands players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Balverliefd were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Veerman to make the kick off. Andrias á Bø was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henk Veerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 53 minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Balverliefd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Faroe Islands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yorrick Zoethout quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Faroe Islands defense, Henk Veerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrias á Bø. The Faroe Islands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrias á Bø should have stopped the shot. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óli á Borg in the 62nd minute of the match. If Henk Veerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Henk Veerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Gudmundsson in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Melker Gudmundsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrias á Bø, 0-10. Marni Joensen hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Øssur Debes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Andrias á Bø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerafettin Akabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Caiola kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Henk Veerman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrias á Bø came out and tried to block the shot, but Henk Veerman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 84th minute. Andrias á Bø came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Balverliefd's Henk Veerman. But to his dismay, Henk Veerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. After some careless play in the Faroe Islands defense, Melker Gudmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrias á Bø. The Faroe Islands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrias á Bø should have stopped the shot.
