When Gaudencio Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Rejunte de perros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Jerrald couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrias á Bø having to interfere. Andrias á Bø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Nenad á Neystabø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Normando hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Enrique Sedeni got control of the ball when Óli á Borg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Faroe Islands's corner Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Sedeni quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when Faroe Islands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrias á Bø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Jerrald's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 郭适岚 in the 44th minute of play forced Faroe Islands's goalkeeper Andrias á Bø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Barral in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Jerrald made a kick off. It was Horacio Librado who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Faroe Islands getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leif Fróði Hansen hit a great ball. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Jerrald in the 67th minute of the match. Andrias á Bø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Jerrald in the 70th minute. With 92 minutes on the clock, Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fríðrikur Ellingsgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rejunte de perros played a much better game than Faroe Islands and deserved their victory. The Faroe Islands players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
