Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Reid started the match with the kick off. Gloria Steinem Liberty's attentive Gary Milbourn managed to snatch the ball when Uluç Berkman made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Utkan Ortaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Reid in the 6th minute of the match. Gloria Steinem Liberty's Ben Hazel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Gloria Steinem Liberty from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Gloria Steinem Liberty got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Norfolk. Utkan Ortaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Reid in the 19th minute of play. Ben Hazel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Flores's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute Vicente Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Hazel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE SK's Çelebi Selami got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mark Newman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utkan Ortaç having to interfere.

The wind increased when Vicente Flores made the kick off in the second half. Uluç Berkman made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Obi Mikel immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gary Milbourn during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Gary Milbourn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gloria Steinem Liberty booed when GÖZTEPE SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Tavil didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Reid in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utkan Ortaç saved GÖZTEPE SK from getting behind. Henryk Ernest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ben Hazel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Gloria Steinem Liberty's goal looked a bit too open when Orbay Samin came free, but Ben Hazel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vicente Flores came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the GÖZTEPE SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Flores couldn't finish the play. Gloria Steinem Liberty's Christopher Norfolk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sufi Tavil, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Utkan Ortaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Tracy in the 82nd minute of play. Utkan Ortaç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Tracy went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ben Hazel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Christopher Norfolk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gloria Steinem Liberty's Dean Penfold got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Gloria Steinem Liberty could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GÖZTEPE SK throughout the match.
