Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Margaret Atwood Impact from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute of the match, Hólmfastur Óskarsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christopher Love was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Hólmfastur Óskarsson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the VV Werchrata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hólmfastur Óskarsson couldn't finish the play. Christopher Love didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Brzeszczak went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Michael Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. VV Werchrata's Damian Brzeszczak got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hany Moamen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathew Gunter in the 20th minute of the match. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Brzeszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hólmfastur Óskarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Love read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match VV Werchrata got a corner. Margaret Atwood Impact's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jakub Gendolla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hany Moamen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Margaret Atwood Impact were awarded a corner. Jim Mitchell went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Margaret Atwood Impact's Timothy Watson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dominik Nikodemski's late challenge caught a Margaret Atwood Impact's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Nikodemski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when VV Werchrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Nikodemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Margaret Atwood Impact getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Adam Searle hit a great ball. Damian Brzeszczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Christopher Love made a huge save. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Brzeszczak in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Miromir Ferfecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VV Werchrata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margaret Atwood Impact the free kick. After a rather tough play, VV Werchrata's Miromir Ferfecki got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

53 minutes into the game, VV Werchrata's Damian Brzeszczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Love made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Brzeszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Brzeszczak in the 61st minute of play. Mathew Gunter scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hany Moamen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 68 minutes, Damian Brzeszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VV Werchrata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Brzeszczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VV Werchrata made a substitution. Konrad Dziewedik replaced Stefan Dudzik. Damian Brzeszczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christopher Love. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Brzeszczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Brzeszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Brzeszczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jim Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hany Moamen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Napoleon Dytrych who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Napoleon Dytrych blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christopher Love having to make a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. VV Werchrata were victorious despite being under pressure from Margaret Atwood Impact for much of the match.
