Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Nea Salamis's Kaineus Rigatos got a free kick in the 2nd minute. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Orthros Antonopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nea Salamis's goalkeeper Orthros Antonopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ruud Nistelrooy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nea Salamis's Kaineus Rigatos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Philip Palmer. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After 21 played minutes Nea Salamis got a freekick which was hit by Ptolemeos Vardakas. Orthros Antonopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Williamson in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Rod Williamson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Williamson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Palmer came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nea Salamis's Ruud Nistelrooy. But to his dismay, Ruud Nistelrooy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Rod Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaineus Rigatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Palmer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Rennie during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Rennie kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Nistelrooy made a kick off. Orthros Antonopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Williamson in the 52nd minute of the match. Akestes Manetas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Rod Williamson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Rennie was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th minute, William Rennie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkibiades Kutras, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Gluck to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goal looked a bit too open when Alkibiades Kutras came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruud Nistelrooy in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Palmer saved Sojourner Truth Pioneers from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud Nistelrooy in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaineus Rigatos in the 76th minute of play forced Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Nea Salamis's Kaineus Rigatos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Palmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orthros Antonopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Williamson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francis Horton to maneuver through the defense. Ptolemeos Vardakas came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Philip Palmer, but to the joy of Sojourner Truth Pioneers's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Alkibiades Kutras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Philip Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkibiades Kutras in the 94th minute of play. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
