Margaret Atwood Impact's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jim Mitchell in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner Jim Mitchell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Bide quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when 乂丨 爪ㄩ乇尺ㄒㄖ丂 千.匚. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Mitchell scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Bide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love got control of the ball when Andrea Carnevale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathew Gunter's late challenge caught a 乂丨 爪ㄩ乇尺ㄒㄖ丂 千.匚.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathew Gunter helped the player get up and apologised. Mathew Gunter kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Timothy Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Mitchell might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jim Mitchell ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Andrea Carnevale made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jim Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Andrea Carnevale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Mitchell got free with Christian Bide in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathew Gunter took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Bide. Christian Bide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Christian Bide made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Timothy Watson sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Bide. Christian Bide yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, 乂丨 爪ㄩ乇尺ㄒㄖ丂 千.匚.'s goalkeeper Christian Bide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Mitchell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Isauro in the 80th minute of play forced Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathew Gunter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 乂丨 爪ㄩ乇尺ㄒㄖ丂 千.匚.'s Bob Keith was substituted for Andrea Carnevale. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Mitchell got free with Christian Bide in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Hylton Brookes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Bide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
