But to his dismay, Hitzeder Abasalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Wollstonecraft Rockers from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford got control of the ball when Hitzeder Abasalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalkeeper Ian Bedford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Montaña. Ian Bedford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gizon Munoz in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Gizon Munoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Bedford was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, James Nicklin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rubite FC's Arbidel Llorente. Arbidel Llorente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hitzeder Abasalo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ian Bedford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubite FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Wollstonecraft Rockers's goal looked a bit too open when Gizon Munoz came free, but Ian Bedford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Montaña kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Andreas Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Rubite FC's Renato Lermo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ian Bedford came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rubite FC reached it. Ian Bedford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mark Yuen's late challenge caught a Rubite FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Yuen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wollstonecraft Rockers's Mark Yuen got a free kick in the 69th minute. Renato Lermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ian Bedford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rubite FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Rubite FC's Hitzeder Abasalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ian Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hitzeder Abasalo in the 81st minute of play. Arbidel Llorente was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Andreas Maier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Maier really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Hitzeder Abasalo scored 4-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Bedford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
