In the 19th minute Yiğit Güven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Indrek Nuga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Vargas made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Hendrik Rajamäe sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Yiğit Güven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Indrek Nuga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Gambini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Indrek Nuga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yiğit Güven in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Indrek Nuga saved FC MatriX from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Yiğit Güven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Indrek Nuga was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A hard shot 38 in the game by Hendrik Rajamäe from a close distance when the talented Benicio Vargas managed to make a qualified save. Æsir Ásgarðr's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Andrea Gambini sped through FC MatriX's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Indrek Nuga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Güven in the 43rd minute of play forced FC MatriX's goalkeeper Indrek Nuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Yiğit Güven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters rose to their feet, but Yiğit Güven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Indrek Nuga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of FC MatriX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Æsir Ásgarðr:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Jüriöö made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Kristall Guðjónsson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Indrek Nuga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Güven in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Yiğit Güven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. FC MatriX's Indrek Nuga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC MatriX from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MatriX's goalkeeper Indrek Nuga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Æsir Ásgarðr's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claes Pihlberg in the 64th minute. Scott Travis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Indrek Nuga made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Æsir Ásgarðr's Yiğit Güven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, FC MatriX's Aivar Lõokene got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, FC MatriX's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Güven came free, but Indrek Nuga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
