Æsir Ásgarðr's Guðvin Skúlason quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Imortal's Felippe Azevedo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Marel Ingimundarson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Álfgeir Hannibalsson made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho de Medeiros. Grêmio Imortal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Æsir Ásgarðr's Álfgeir Hannibalsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 13 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Guðvin Skúlason. Eldór Hreiðarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Tasso in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Guðvin Skúlason could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Adrianinho de Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. After 21 minutes, Marel Ingimundarson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Æsir Ásgarðr and the Grêmio Imortal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marel Ingimundarson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eldór Hreiðarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Maranhense in the 29th minute of play. Ronaldinho Maranhense took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eldór Hreiðarsson. Eldór Hreiðarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 37th match minute, Grêmio Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Eldór Hreiðarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Guðvin Skúlason made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho de Medeiros. Grêmio Imortal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álfgeir Hannibalsson to make the kick off. Adrianinho de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guðvin Skúlason, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 53rd minute of play. Adrianinho de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elfráður Unnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Kristján Ófeigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Imortal's Adrianinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristján Ófeigsson in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Ramos in the 70th minute of play forced Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Eldór Hreiðarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guðvin Skúlason struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Adrianinho de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Æsir Ásgarðr. Adrianinho de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guðvin Skúlason's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
