Szczepan Mikulski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Geralt Wilk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geralt Wilk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Gröhe having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geralt Wilk. In the 41st minute, Szczepan Mikulski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Gröhe. The goal made the score 4-0. Marcelo Gröhe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geralt Wilk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Independente FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Mitschullen SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wanderson Souto took the corner. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Francisco Toledo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Blochowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independente FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geralt Wilk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Gröhe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Geralt Wilk scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Gröhe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geralt Wilk in the 93rd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geralt Wilk came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Independente FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mitschullen SSA.
