After a defensive mix-up in Wollstonecraft Rockers's zone, Lázaro Atarrabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Bedford came out of the goal and Lázaro Atarrabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alberdi FC's Epifanio Sergi in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Wollstonecraft Rockers's protests and gave Mark Yuen a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wollstonecraft Rockers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ian Bedford, was totally fooled by Alberdi FC's Victor Chan, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ian Bedford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Sergi in the 44th minute of the match. Enzo Moise was left in no man's land by his defense there! James Nicklin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Moise having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, James Nicklin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Moise. Alberdi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Nicklin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Baldomiro Mantzio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Mantzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Alberdi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes, James Nicklin made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Alberdi FC's Enzo Moise tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Epifanio Sergi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberdi FC's Enzo Moise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Alberdi FC from getting a goal against them. Enzo Moise made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when James Nicklin sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute of the match, James Nicklin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enzo Moise was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. David Henderson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Henderson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Alberdi FC. Victor Chan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ian Bedford. 2-4. In the 98th minute, Epifanio Sergi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alberdi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The Alberdi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wollstonecraft Rockers's performance. The match ended with a win for Wollstonecraft Rockers.
