The David Wooster was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuan Eubanks in the 14th minute of play forced F. Nightingale Saviors's goalkeeper David Wooster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F. Nightingale Saviors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bhavin Pandya in the 17th minute. Ralph Thompson took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

F. Nightingale Saviors's David Houston got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Melling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Gino Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Wooster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, ACC Mavericks's Samuel Mesquita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Wooster was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Bhavin Pandya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, David Melling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. F. Nightingale Saviors's David Wooster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan Eubanks in the 82nd minute of play. F. Nightingale Saviors's Bhavin Pandya got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Wooster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. David Melling, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Thompson in the 89th minute of play forced ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
