Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Havass having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ákos Nagy. In the 47th minute, Albert Shaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A hard shot 58 in the game by Rod Williamson from a close distance when the talented Máté Havass managed to make a qualified save. Átták's players were relieved. Tamás Takács sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Tamás Takács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Palmer was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Tamás Takács left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Átták fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Paul Arnold managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dániel Földi in the 80 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, William Rennie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's supporters rose to their feet, but William Rennie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Havass breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When William Rennie came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Rennie couldn't finish the play. Albert Shaw struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Máté Havass didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sojourner Truth Pioneers. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
