Free Julian Assange! were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Apricis Bruxella's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Simon Matthieu took the corner. Wolf De Hond struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Simon Mignolet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apricis Bruxella. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lieven De Pauw during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Free Julian Assange! got a freekick which was hit by Lieven De Pauw. After recieving a nice pass, Apricis Bruxella's Laurens Vercammen tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Wolf De Hond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Free Julian Assange!'s Simon Mignolet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jannic Roukeloes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Apricis Bruxella getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Diedrik Jamieson hit a great ball. Free Julian Assange!'s Jannic Roukeloes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Free Julian Assange!'s Jannic Roukeloes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurence Van Den Abeele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Free Julian Assange! were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wolf De Hond made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Laurens Vercammen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Free Julian Assange!'s Tom Araya got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurence Van Den Abeele made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jannic Roukeloes sent off a good shot on target. After 57 played minutes Apricis Bruxella got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Marchewka. Free Julian Assange!'s Refael Vanden Bossche was substituted for Ensar Yaşam. A collision led to Apricis Bruxella getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Stanislaw Marchewka hit a great ball. Free Julian Assange!'s Stijn Verdonckt was substituted for Jan-Simon Matthieu. A sloppy throw-in by Alexander Hendrickx in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Apricis Bruxella's Romeu Moreira. The crowd rose to their feet as Jannic Roukeloes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurence Van Den Abeele. That made the score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Jannic Roukeloes put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Laurence Van Den Abeele. Jannic Roukeloes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Laurence Van Den Abeele made a huge save. Apricis Bruxella's Dinu Moți was substituted for Johny Konings. Apricis Bruxella's Steven Gierman was substituted for Güney Özboga. The throw-in from Gencer Korkutalp in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Free Julian Assange!'s Alexander Hendrickx. Free Julian Assange!'s Simon Mignolet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf De Hond in the 79th minute of play. Apricis Bruxella's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laurens Vercammen in the 80th minute. In the 90th match minute, Free Julian Assange! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. Wolf De Hond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Mignolet having to make a save. Simon Mignolet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf De Hond in the 92nd minute of play. Laurence Van Den Abeele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 94th minute.
