The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Timothy Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Bollaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Bollaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Dalton in the 8th minute of play forced The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Glenn Bollaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Bollaert having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Thobias Helsens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Love was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 28th match minute, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thobias Helsens to maneuver through the defense. Aaron De Keijser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Christopher Love made a huge save. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Bollaert having to interfere. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenn Smoors in the 36th minute of play. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron De Keijser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Kenn Smoors made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Love was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Aaron De Keijser got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when The Supersaiyan Sorcerers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem Verstappen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Bollaert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron De Keijser to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Kenn Smoors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Glenn Bollaert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathew Gunter. 58 minutes into the match, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Glenn Bollaert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Mitchell. Aaron De Keijser charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron De Keijser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when The Supersaiyan Sorcerers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron De Keijser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffry Coenens to maneuver through the defense. Timothy Watson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Glenn Bollaert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save The Supersaiyan Sorcerers from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Reemy Ottevaere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Kenn Smoors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Dalton got free with Glenn Bollaert in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st match minute, Margaret Atwood Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Searle to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron De Keijser in the 92nd minute of play forced Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Margaret Atwood Impact players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
