Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bertil Jansson made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Burman in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Love prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Mitchell in the 4th minute of the match. Skyborn FC's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Mitchell in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Paul Burgess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's Jonathan Burman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Love narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Margaret Atwood Impact got a freekick which was hit by Paul Burgess. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Mitchell in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skyborn FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Mitchell was slow to take the kick. During this time Margaret Atwood Impact's players had a chance to rest. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Jansson in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Jonathan Burman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christopher Love. Jonathan Burman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thomas Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Mitchell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Jonathan Burman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christopher Love. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 40th minute, Hylton Brookes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Ravelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Mitchell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Michael Dalton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. The supporters of Skyborn FC booed when Margaret Atwood Impact was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes Skyborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Axelsson. After 56 minutes of play, Skyborn FC's Jonathan Burman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Love was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 59th minute of the match. Skyborn FC's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hylton Brookes in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Margaret Atwood Impact got a corner. Skyborn FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jim Mitchell ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Margaret Atwood Impact's corner Jim Mitchell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Ravelli quite easily take care of the ball. Jim Mitchell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomas Ravelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mathew Gunter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Ravelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Gösta Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skyborn FC's protests and gave Gösta Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Skyborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Söderberg. Hylton Brookes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Ravelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Christopher Love showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Burman in the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Michael Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Skyborn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Vassenius to maneuver through the defense. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Skyborn FC had won, even though Margaret Atwood Impact had held more of the ball.
