Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Margaret Atwood Impact from getting a goal against them. 4 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's Jonathan Burman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Love narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Margaret Atwood Impact's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bertil Jansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Skyborn FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bertil Jansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love did a great save. Jonathan Burman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christopher Love having to make a save. With a little luck, Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love got control of the ball when Jonathan Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes Skyborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Almqvist. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Burman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Love read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Burman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christopher Love. The goal made the score 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Hylton Brookes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Jonathan Burman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christopher Love. Jonathan Burman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Skyborn FC's Bertil Jansson in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margaret Atwood Impact's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Bertil Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher Love was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Jansson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Love prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute of the match Skyborn FC got a corner. Margaret Atwood Impact's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertil Jansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Jim Mitchell, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thomas Ravelli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Mitchell came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Boris Almqvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Skyborn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Mitchell to make the kick off. Bertil Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christopher Love tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Jansson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Thomas Ravelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Mitchell in the 57th minute. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Skyborn FC's Jonathan Burman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Love made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Michael Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Ravelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Jonathan Burman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Christopher Love was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Jonathan Burman notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love. Christopher Love was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathew Gunter charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathew Gunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Margaret Atwood Impact getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mathew Gunter hit a great ball. Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jim Mitchell sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Skyborn FC's Jonas Axelsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Skyborn FC's Thomas Ravelli got control of the ball when Jim Mitchell tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hylton Brookes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Margaret Atwood Impact fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hylton Brookes couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Burman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Love read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Skyborn FC were awarded a corner. Bertil Jansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bertil Jansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love did a great save. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Skyborn FC had won, even though Margaret Atwood Impact had held more of the ball.
