Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Ruisko having to interfere. When Rod Williamson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Williamson couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan İskenderoğlu came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Aguirre struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Philip Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. BOCA JUNIORS. In the 18th minute, Atacan İskenderoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Palmer. The goal made the score 1-0. Atacan İskenderoğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philip Palmer firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Marco Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Yin Chuan Bo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Sojourner Truth Pioneers getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paul Hawkes hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Marco Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atacan İskenderoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Isaias Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Simon Gluck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yin Chuan Bo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yin Chuan Bo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rod Williamson made a kick off. With a little luck, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Isaias Ruisko got control of the ball when Rod Williamson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Yin Chuan Bo. The C.A. BOCA JUNIORS fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Atacan İskenderoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Sojourner Truth Pioneers's zone, Atacan İskenderoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Palmer came out of the goal and Atacan İskenderoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Philip Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by William Greig. If Atacan İskenderoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan İskenderoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Marco Aguirre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Palmer. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Aguirre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Simon Gluck charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. BOCA JUNIORS's Isaias Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Wright in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's zone, Rod Williamson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Ruisko came out of the goal and Rod Williamson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Aguirre came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Rod Williamson from a close distance when the talented Isaias Ruisko managed to make a qualified save. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's players were relieved. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. BOCA JUNIORS.
