Michael Dalton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Ruisko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jim Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Margaret Atwood Impact's goalkeeper Christopher Love, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Isaias Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathew Gunter in the 37th minute of play. When Mathew Gunter came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Margaret Atwood Impact fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathew Gunter couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Silvano Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to C.A. BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bernardo Dominic hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Jim Mitchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The C.A. BOCA JUNIORS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Margaret Atwood Impact were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Atacan İskenderoğlu made the kick off in the second half. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Isaias Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save C.A. BOCA JUNIORS from getting a goal against them. Isaias Ruisko was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Jim Mitchell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jim Mitchell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Chris Randall got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, Margaret Atwood Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Watson to maneuver through the defense. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nicolas Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Christopher Love tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Dalton in the 69th minute of the match. Isaias Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Mitchell in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Dominic. In the 77th minute Michael Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Michael Dalton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Margaret Atwood Impact fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Dalton couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Marco Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Mitchell got free with Isaias Ruisko in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The C.A. BOCA JUNIORS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
