The Shadows's Jens Molander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Ritchie in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jairo Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gary Lineker got free with Angel Silviano in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Molander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Ritchie in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Stig Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gary Lineker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Silviano. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. If Simon Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Chorroarín's Matias Ritchie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Molander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 34th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Bock to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Lineker in the 44th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Angel Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Chorroarín got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Fresco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Chorroarín's Tiburcio Chuse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Molander. That made the score 2-3 after 75 minutes of play. Chorroarín's Prospero Sotil was substituted for Jairo Leoncio. Jens Molander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Chuse's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Prospero Sotil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens Molander, 2-4. In the 92nd minute Gervasio Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Shadows's Jens Molander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save The Shadows from getting a goal against them.
