After 7 played minutes Los Magios got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Terciero. 8 minutes into the match, Los Magios's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but Severiano Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Pabla walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Isidoro Endura took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Philip Palmer to make any attempt to save it. Severiano Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rennie in the 24th minute of play. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rod Williamson in the 26th minute. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Rod Williamson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severiano Bernat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Narciso Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Magios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Bos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philip Palmer firmly grabbed it by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Bos. Philip Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Bos in the 43rd minute. Philip Palmer made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dirk Bos sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute of the match, Dante Pabla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Philip Palmer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Los Magios getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Narciso Eutropio hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Dirk Bos sped through Sojourner Truth Pioneers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Palmer. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Severiano Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Magios's Roberto Isidor was substituted for Dante Pabla. In the 75th minute, Albert Shaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Isidor in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Palmer saved Sojourner Truth Pioneers from getting behind. Philip Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Isidor's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, William Rennie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Magios the free kick. Steven Wright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Bernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Magios.
