Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tosh Higginson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd minute, Albert Shaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5th play minutes Tosh Higginson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Philip Palmer and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tosh Higginson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Philip Palmer. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Rod Williamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Robson having to interfere. William Rennie struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Peter Robson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sojourner Truth Pioneers. If Rod Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Hythe United Rangers's Tosh Higginson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Philip Palmer. Philip Palmer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 30 minutes in the game Cody Wilson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zak Crocker. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Williamson in the 32nd minute of play forced Hythe United Rangers's goalkeeper Peter Robson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sojourner Truth Pioneers's zone, Tosh Higginson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Palmer came out of the goal and Tosh Higginson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Hythe United Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Gary Mead. The supporters of Hythe United Rangers booed when Sojourner Truth Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Gluck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tosh Higginson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Lance Eyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lance Eyre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philip Palmer firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Rod Williamson made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Dylan Crossley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Philip Palmer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Hythe United Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Hythe United Rangers's Tosh Higginson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Hythe United Rangers booed when Sojourner Truth Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Robson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rennie in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hythe United Rangers defense, William Rennie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Robson. The Hythe United Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Robson should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Lance Eyre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tosh Higginson succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. With a little luck, Hythe United Rangers's Peter Robson got control of the ball when Rod Williamson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philip Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Newton in the 86th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Gary Mead with Lance Eyre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Hythe United Rangers booed when Sojourner Truth Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Shaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Tosh Higginson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hythe United Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Tosh Higginson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hythe United Rangers had played much better football throughout.
