With an all-out effort, Tömük33's Christopher Love threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximo Lesardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tömük33's Bayezit Tecik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hylton Brookes in the 13th minute of play. Göktan Pekalp hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tömük33 defense, Michael Dalton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayezit Tecik. The Tömük33 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayezit Tecik should have stopped the shot. Christopher Love made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Maximo Lesardo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Michael Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayezit Tecik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayezit Tecik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 45th play minutes Maximo Lesardo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Christopher Love and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Tömük33 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agah Özver didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Mitchell to make the kick off. Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balamir Kamuran in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tömük33's Agah Özver got a free kick in the 54th minute. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Tecik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Lesardo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Love saved Margaret Atwood Impact from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Michael Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayezit Tecik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Margaret Atwood Impact getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adam Searle hit a great ball. Michael Dalton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Göktan Pekalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tömük33's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Michael Dalton scored to the left of an out of position Bayezit Tecik, making the score, 2-2. Göktan Pekalp kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Primitivo Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tömük33's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Gorka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Margaret Atwood Impact were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tömük33 to leave the ground with a draw.
