An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Dalton in the 7th minute of play forced Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goalkeeper Elias Arnedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love got control of the ball when Alfredo Sosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zigor Orive hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's zone, Jim Mitchell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Arnedo came out of the goal and Jim Mitchell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Alfredo Sosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Christopher Love was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Sosa in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christopher Love, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jim Mitchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Elias Arnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Sosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elias Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Mitchell was slow to take the kick. During this time Margaret Atwood Impact's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jim Mitchell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo did a great save. After 43 played minutes Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Valdez. After 44 played minutes Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre got a freekick which was hit by Juan Martines. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Mitchell made a kick off. Elias Arnedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Mitchell in the 54th minute. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Jim Mitchell scored to the left of an out of position Elias Arnedo, making the score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Michael Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Arnedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Arnedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Mitchell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Arnedo. That made the score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre from getting a goal against them. When Erwin Valdez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Erwin Valdez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Margaret Atwood Impact were awarded a corner. Jim Mitchell went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Arnedo having to interfere. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Corro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Viking recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
