The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Mitchell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Mitchell came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Johnny van der Sar could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samir Menad in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Love saved Margaret Atwood Impact from getting behind. Kusti Jõeäär made a great header on La manada fc's corner, it was just that Margaret Atwood Impact's Christopher Love managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samir Menad in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Love prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Dalton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind La manada fc's goalkeeper Johnny van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Margaret Atwood Impact were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
